Work > Pennine Way

Liz’s home and studio are surrounded by the stunning landscape of Yorkshire’s Pennines. Musing the question of ‘What is Yorkshire?’, she decided to capture the changing beauty of her surroundings through the year and create a series of glass panels depicting the glorious Pennine Way.

The series takes inspiration from both the natural and industrial elements of the area, comprising both seasonal shifts and a wider historical context. In February 2025 Liz will take Yorkshire to Australia, with the panels featuring as a centerpiece in an exhibition she has coordinated in Melbourne’s Tacit Art.

This collection is made from dichroic glass and created using the ancient process of glass kiln forming.
