Liz Danby: maker, educator and champion of the arts

With over 30 years’ experience, Liz specialises in glass and ceramics. Her work often focuses on the theme of beauty, aiming to lift the spirits by using fluid forms to capture light and create vibrant colours and textures.

Glass collections

Liz hones her expert skills and specialist techniques in her studio in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. She creates her beautiful final pieces by combining dichroic and other glass with additional materials including precious metals and finishes them using the ancient process of glass kiln forming.
